Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Location: BGC, Taguig (Hybrid Work Arrangement)

Schedule: Night Shift | 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Salary: Up to PHP 30,000

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage our company's customer billing, collections, and dispute resolution processes. You will ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and compliance with internal and external requirements — all while building positive relationships with our customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor overdue accounts and proactively follow up with customers to secure payment.
  • Conduct collection calls and email follow-ups per agreed schedules.

  • Resolve payment delays, escalations, and disputes in collaboration with customers.

  • Generate, validate, and send invoices based on contractual, tax, and local market requirements.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy before invoicing.

  • Correct billing errors to prevent disputes and delays.

  • Log and validate customer claims (pricing, quantity, returns, service issues).

  • Investigate root causes in collaboration with Sales, Logistics, and Operations.

  • Process approved credit memos or re-billing in accordance with policies.

  • Apply customer payments accurately and promptly.

  • Reconcile unapplied cash and resolve discrepancies.

  • Ensure compliance with SLA timelines for payment posting.

  • Prepare AR aging reports, dispute logs, and collection performance dashboards.

  • Ensure adherence to SOX, internal controls, and market regulations.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready AR documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years AR/collections experience in a corporate setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and AR software/tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
  • Willing to work the night shift (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM) in BGC on a hybrid setup.
