Position: Drupal Developer
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain custom Drupal modules and themes across Drupal 8, 9, and 10 environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, product owners) to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to enhance system stability and performance.
  • Manage and optimize data storage using PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
  • Utilize Git for version control and manage build/deployment processes with Drush and Composer.
  • Apply basic Linux command-line operations for server and environment management.
  • Integrate third-party APIs into Drupal applications as required.
  • Optionally leverage cloud services (Azure) and containerization (Docker) within development workflows.
  • Stay current with evolving Drupal practices, contributing to continuous improvement of coding standards and processes.
  • Participate actively in Agile delivery cycles, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Core Qualifications and Education
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Drupal development, with strong expertise in Drupal 8, 9, and 10.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Proficient in PHP and Drupal module/theme development.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, preferably with PostgreSQL; MySQL experience also acceptable.
  • Proficiency with Git, Drush, and Composer at a basic to mid-level.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux systems and command-line tools.
  • Experience with API integration into Drupal applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure) and containerization tools (Docker) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical, high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with proven ability to collaborate in diverse team environments.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to evolving requirements and technologies.
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality and best practices in software development.
