The Senior IT Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting IT compliance, risk management, and audit readiness to ensure alignment with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, preparing compliance documentation, assisting in audit activities, and monitoring IT processes to ensure adherence to frameworks such as SSAE 18 and ISO 27001.

Job Description:


• Supports IT compliance initiatives, including SSAE 18 and ISO 27001 audits, risk assessments, and remediation tracking.


• Monitors IT processes and systems to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory standards.


• Prepares compliance documentation, evidence, and audit reports in collaboration with IT and business units.


• Coordinates with external auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders during audit engagements.


• Assists in the development and improvement of IT compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.


• Tracks and reports compliance status, issues, and remediation progress to management.


• Provides guidance to IT teams on compliance requirements and control measures.


• Ensures proper documentation and recordkeeping for IT compliance and risk management activities.

Qualifications:


• Knowledge of IT compliance frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SSAE 18, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR).


• Skilled in IT audit support, compliance documentation, and control testing.


• Experienced in coordinating with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.


• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.


• Capable of managing multiple compliance tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Clear and coherent both communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
