Quality Assurance Director

II. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Oversee the overall operation of the Firms' Quality Control System.
  2. Recommend new policies and revisions to existing policies for Firm's compliance.
  3. Provides guidance and consultation on the application of accounting and auditing standards to Partners and staff.
  4. Facilitate and speak in training and seminars on soft and technical skills for the Firm's employees and clients to ensure continuing professional development.
  5. Attend and contribute to the meetings of the Philippine Interpretation Committee (PIC).
  6. Conduct research works to update the firm on newly issued technical pronouncements, and
  7. Review financial statements and audit reports of high-risk audit clients.

III. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy
  • Must be a CPA, MBA is an advantage

B. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 10 years experience in external audit or quality assurance

C. SKILLS AND ABILITIES

i. Technical Skills

  • High understanding and application of the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards.
  • High understanding and application of the Philippine Standards in Auditing
  • High understanding and application of relevant laws and regulations
  • High understanding and application of the International Standard on Quality Management (ISQM)
