SEO Content Writer

SEO Content Writer should go beyond the basic crafting of compelling text; they should effectively communicate our brand's mission and vision to drive traffic and establish authority in our niche. As a storyteller, a brand ambassador, and a market researcher, you'll be responsible for filling our channels with content and enriching our community platform with insights and resources.

In the office, you'll be working with other writers to create SEO-friendly content for our B2C and B2B audiences. Your weekly routine primarily involves daily blog post creation, LinkedIn Pulse creation, press release writing, social media texts and captions writing, guest article writing, and keyword research through Semrush, Google SERP, and Competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

· Content Creation - Expertise in writing SERP-optimized blog articles, LinkedIn articles (Pulse), Press Releases (PRs), guest posts, YouTube descriptions, and landing pages.

· Content SEO - Drive website traffic with best SEO practices, such as link building, manual keyword research using Google SERP, and Semrush-based keyword and competitor analysis.

· Ensure Quality Content - All content should be original (more than 85% originality), readable (60% or above reliability score), and not AI-generated. Our site has zero tolerance for AI-generated content.

· SEO/Analytics Tools - Ensure familiarity with SEO tools, such as Semrush, SurferSEO, and Google Console.

· Audience Engagement - Regularly adjust SEO strategy by monitoring the website's CTR and overall SEO performance using Google Console and Semrush.

· Content Strategy - Contribute to monthly content strategy planning and give feedback on how to improve site traffic and SEO performance.

· Collaboration - Work closely with the Marketing and UI/UX Developer teams to align content with promotional campaigns and website development.

· Multimedia - Use Canva to create or coordinate visual aids like images, videos, and infographics for articles.

· Timeliness - Meet deadlines and adapt to any urgent content needs.

· Branding - Maintain consistent voice and branding across all content.

SEO-Specific Tasks:

· Manual keyword research using Google SERP

· Semrush keyword research and competitor analysis

· Familiarity with Semrush and SurferSEO

· Creation of article images on Canva

· Scheduling and publishing of content on WordPress, LinkedIn Pulse editor, and other Content Management Systems (CMS)

Qualifications:

· Educational Background. A degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.

· SEO Knowledge. Proficiency in SEO best practices, including keyword research, competitor analysis, SERP feature optimization, and metadata optimization.

· Portfolio. A comprehensive portfolio showcasing a variety of content types such as articles, blog posts, and multimedia.

· Multimedia Skills. Experience in creating and editing images or videos using Canva or other software is a plus.

· CMS Experience. Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress and LinkedIn Pulse editor.

· Analytics. Understanding of performance metrics and experience with analytics tools like Google Console and Semrush.

· Communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interracial team interaction.

· Attention to Detail. A high level of focus on grammar, style, and factual accuracy.

· Adaptability. Ability to quickly adapt to new content types, platforms, and industry trends.

Preferred Qualification:

· Experience. At least 1 year of SEO content writing experience.

· Brand Niche Familiarity - Proven experience with niches such as online trading, investment, and financial markets is preferred.

· SEO or Related Certification - Certifications in content marketing, SEO, or a related field can be a plus.
