Position: ETL Developer

Core Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in ETL development
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries
  • Experience with Teradata or equivalent data warehouse platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Technical Skills & Tools:

  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or Apache Airflow
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schemas, data modeling, fact/dimension tables)
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse
  • Scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar languages for data processing and automation
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
  • Understanding of data quality, governance, and security principles
  • Working knowledge of BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
  • Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Build and maintain data integration workflows across databases and systems
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to implement data models and business logic
  • Support ad hoc data requests and ensure timely data delivery to stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data issues in production and staging environments
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of data processes
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Exposure to multiple database systems (e.g., Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of cloud-native data workflows and tools
  • Certifications in ETL platforms, cloud technologies, or data engineering tools (a plus)

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From Php40,000.00 per month
