Ensures the safety of people, protection of property, and enforcement of order within Araneta City by leading day-to-day security operations, incident response, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with law enforcement standards.

Enforces safety, order, and threat prevention across all Araneta City properties

  • Establishes and implements risk and security plan
  • Oversees 24/7 patrol and checkpoint operations
  • Implements a program for control and apprehension of undesirable elements (e.g., terrorists/destabilizers, drug dealers/users, armed robbers, vagrants, illegal vendors, scalpers, petty criminals).
  • Leads incident responses during emergencies (e.g., fire, earthquake, civil disturbances)
  • Manages traffic personnel performance, especially at high-congestion zones to ensure compliance with internal traffic policies.

Safeguards event integrity

  • Manages security presence during events at Smart Araneta Coliseum and New Frontier Theater.
  • Implements event-specific protocols for high-risk or high-profile events

Promotes strong working relations with local law enforcement

  • Coordinates with police or barangay units regarding criminal cases and official incident documentation.
  • Secures law enforcement support for Araneta City; implements on-site police helpdesks.

Enforces compliance and emergency preparedness by ensuring manpower, equipment and SOPs are in place

  • Works with Property Management Teams to optimize productivity of Araneta City security, ensuring all critical areas are manned.
  • Leads scheduled fire and earthquake drills and submits readiness reports.
  • Maintains records of firearms, incident logs, inspection checklists, and permits.
  • Ensures all security and safety gear (radios, flashlights, fire extinguishers) are functional and accounted for.
  • Attends routine security briefings per property on a rotating basis
  • Convenes security synergy meetings among all Security Officers across the different properties
