Job Description
The Performance Management & Insights Lead plays a critical role in steering Globe B2B's commercial engine toward predictable growth and disciplined execution. The role blends analytics, financial acumen, and strategic alignment to translate performance data into business actions, tracking how pipeline health, revenues, and costs shape the unit's success.
This leader thrives in ambiguous, fast-transforming environments, capable of building systems, frameworks, and insights from scratch. The role can operate as an individual contributor or team lead, depending on organizational needs and the maturity of the function.
The ultimate goal: enable performance visibility, drive accountability, and influence results through actionable insights.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance Management
- Design and execute performance management frameworks covering pipeline, revenue realization, and cost optimization.
- Consolidate, analyze, and communicate key performance metrics across business units, segments, and channels.
- Align with Sales, L2A/Operations, Finance, and Strategy on forecasts, productivity targets, and execution levers.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and surface insights that drive timely, data-backed interventions.
Insights Generation
- Connect data points into actionable narratives that inform leadership discussions, sales planning, and performance reviews.
- Provide decision support by identifying growth opportunities, cost leakages, and efficiency improvements.
Frameworks, Processes & Reporting
- Establish and refine recurring performance reports and dashboards that track both leading and lagging indicators.
- Simplify complex data into digestible, executive-ready stories and visual summaries.
- Continuously enhance processes for faster turnaround and better accuracy, introducing automation or AI tools where beneficial.
Governance & Transformation Enablement
- Drive a culture of data discipline and accountability within the Business Development and Sales (BDS) organization.
- Challenge existing norms and help build new models, tools, and metrics as part of the transformation agenda.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of sales performance frameworks, operating rhythms, and governance routines.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years of experience in performance management, FP&A, commercial analysis, or business operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; working familiarity with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect data insights to business strategy.
- Effective communicator and influencer across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Comfortable in a transforming environment, building processes, and driving adoption of change.
- Soft: Analytical curiosity, Business acumen, Influence & collaboration, Agility, Ownership mindset
- Hard: Advanced Excel proficiency, Knowledge of performance metrics and pipeline analytics, Familiarity with data visualization tools and productivity AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini), Strong financial grounding (understands P&L levers, margin drivers, and performance ratios)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
