Job Summary:

Responsible for the planning, execution, and analysis of performance tests to validate the speed, scalability, stability, and capacity of ShipERP applications and integrations (web, APIs, SAP-connected workflows, and carrier services) as instructed by the QA Performance Lead or Senior QA Management.

They also are tasked with coaching other resources on performance testing concepts, tools and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • With guidance from the Sr. QA Manager and the Automation Lead, design, and maintain performance test strategies and workload models aligned to SLOs
  • Write, parameterize, and correlate performance test scripts for APIs, web/UI, background jobs, and SAP-integrated flows.
  • Execute baseline, load, stress, spike, soak/endurance, and scalability tests
  • Monitor and collect metrics during tests and analyze bottlenecks
  • Log and document performance defects in the tracking system with clear steps, evidence, and impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder
  • With at least 1 year of experience with Performance Testing
  • With background in workload modeling; load, stress, spike, soak tests
  • Hands-on with common performance tools: Apache JMeter, k6, Gatling, Locust, Artillery, NeoLoad, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Azure Load Testing, AWS Distributed Load Testing.
  • APIs & Data: REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, Postman; basic SQL for query validation and DB performance checks
  • Exposure in Agile concept
  • With experience in Workflow and Testing Tools
  • Working Hours: 8 per day; 40 hours per week WFH or Hybrid (onsite may vary depending on company events)
  • Shifting Schedule: US Shift, EU Shift, Morning Shift; Not flexi, No sliding
