Job description

Job Summary:
The Safety Officer IV is the most senior OSH personnel in the organization or project. This role is responsible for managing and leading the entire occupational safety and health program. SO4 develops safety policies, oversees all safety personnel, ensures full compliance with regulations, and represents the company in audits and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of OSH policies and systems

  • Supervise SO1–SO3 safety officers in their roles and responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison with DOLE, DOH, and other regulatory agencies

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and propose prevention plans

  • Handle high-level incident investigations and root cause analysis

  • Prepare and submit government-mandated safety reports

  • Organize company-wide safety drills, programs, and training

  • Ensure the organization's compliance with all legal safety standards

Qualifications (per DOLE DO :

  • Must have completed the 40-hour BOSH Training

  • At least 320 hours of OSH-related training (including advanced topics like LCM, Industrial Hygiene, etc.)

  • At least 4 years of full-time OSH experience

  • Must be DOLE-accredited as Safety Officer IV
