About the Role:

The
Planning & Operations Officer
will be responsible for the timely preparation and submission of Management Profitability Reports (MPR), as well as analyzing actual performance against budget. The role will also serve as the Project Management Office (PMO) for collaboration initiatives, ensuring effective coordination, tracking, and execution.

How you'll contribute:

  • Internal Planning:
    Budgeting, monitoring and reporting budget utilisation. Driver management – management of expats drivers.
  • Event Coordination and Follow-up:
    Managing MUFG-related events such as PAM, MGPC, MUFG Now, as well as other corporate events including WBS/MUFG Awards, Economic Forum, ASV Cup, and press interviews.
  • AGO
  • Support for Japanese Expats:
    Assistance with VISA, golf memberships, etc.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Collaborating with MUFG, other partner banks, and MUFG investees. For example, setting up business matching between SBC and KS clients, offering value-added services from SBC, and monitoring progress.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Commerce, Finance / Accountancy / Banking
  • Background in the financial industry (corporate, retail, TB, and/or IB).
  • Proven ability to independently develop plans, execute, monitor, and report.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Good Analytical and organizational skill
  • intermediate level of MS office skills especially with Excel and Power point
  • Japanese language skills preferred but not mandatory.
