The Logistics Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods. They manage staff, maintain inventory control, and work closely with other departments to optimize supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate logistics personnel and activities.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies to schedule deliveries and shipments.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics related to logistics and transportation.
  • Resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Train and support logistics staff to maintain high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with logistics software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time
