Job Summary:

The Finance Associate supports the finance team in day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, transaction processing, and financial reporting. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivables, and journal entries.

  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation accurately.

  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.

  • Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data as needed.

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles preferred.

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
