Job Summary

The Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of SJWSC projects from project conception to completion. The job requires a combination of technical and basic managerial skills, as the Project Engineer will need to oversee both the engineering and administrative aspects of a project. The Project Engineer will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are documented for each critical phase, completed on time, within budget, and to uphold quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and executing the projects in accordance with the project plans, budget, and quality standards.
  • Develops and maintains project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Manage project scope, changes, and risks to ensure project delivery
  • Coordinate and communicate with all related project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, and other relevant documents
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and construction. to ensure project success
  • Must meet monthly and annual internal targets
  • Performs other minor duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering Graduate
  • With at least three (3) years of experience relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledgeable with AutoCAD
  • Knowledgeable with Estimates
