Job Summary:

The Chef de Partie is responsible for the daily operations of an assigned kitchen section within the hotel. This includes food preparation for restaurants, banquets, room service, and special events while ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in line with hotel policies and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (e.g. hot kitchen, grill, larder, pastry)
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes for à la carte dining, buffets, banquets, and room service
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all outlets
  • Supervise, train, and motivate Demi Chef de Partie and Commis Chefs
  • Carry out daily mise en place and ensure smooth service operations
  • Follow hotel SOPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations at all times
  • Monitor food costs, portion control, and minimize wastage
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory checks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
  • Coordinate with Sous Chef and other sections during peak service times
  • Support menu planning and new dish development as required
  • Comply with hotel grooming, hygiene, and safety standards

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical skills in assigned kitchen section
  • Experience handling high-volume service
  • Good leadership and team-training skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of international cuisine is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
