As we grow our footprint across new markets and payment rails, we're looking for a
Compliance Lead

to own our fraud monitoring, investigation, and prevention efforts. This is a key leadership role with real impact: protecting our users and infrastructure while building trust at scale.

Role Overview:

As Compliance Lead, you'll develop and lead Offramp's anti-fraud strategies across global fiat and crypto transactions. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, ops, and legal to build scalable fraud detection systems, investigate suspicious activity, and ensure we meet evolving regulatory and risk standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fraud monitoring and investigation efforts across fiat and crypto channels
  • Develop internal playbooks for transaction monitoring, alerts, and case management
  • Build and maintain fraud detection tools, in partnership with product and engineering
  • Work closely with partners and payment processors on fraud case resolution and reporting
  • Stay current with fraud trends, typologies, and regional risk vectors
  • Ensure compliance with relevant AML/CFT obligations as they relate to fraud
  • Report key fraud metrics to leadership and regulatory stakeholders
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on policy development and risk mitigation

Who We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in fraud operations, risk management, or AML/CFT, ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto
  • Strong knowledge of fraud schemes, transaction monitoring systems, and KYC/KYB processes
  • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with tools like Chainalysis, Flagright, or similar fraud/AML platforms
  • Comfortable in building operational processes and investigating complex cases
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a builder's mindset
  • Bonus: Crypto-native or Web3 curious
