About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Associate to join our dynamic team at WELCOME BANK (RURAL BANK), INC. in our Ortigas, Pasig City office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and IT maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of our banking systems and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  1. Provide first-line technical support to users, resolving IT-related issues and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  2. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, and peripherals
  3. Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrades of software, hardware, and network components
  4. Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and solutions to improve operational efficiency
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions
  6. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a similar IT support or IT associate role
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  4. Proficient in the use of common office productivity software and IT tools
  5. Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with users at all levels
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Familiarity with banking or financial industry IT systems would be an advantage
