About the role

Axelum Resources Corp.' is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to join our team in our office located in Misamis Oriental, Northern Mindanao. This is a full-time position that will play a key strategic role in optimising our manufacturing processes and driving operational efficiency across our organisation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee and manage the industrial engineering team, providing leadership and direction to ensure optimal productivity and cost-effectiveness.

  • Analyse current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as workflow, layout, equipment utilisation and inventory management.

  • Develop and implement industrial engineering solutions to enhance efficiency, increase capacity, and reduce costs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new processes, equipment, and systems.

  • Conduct time and motion studies, perform root cause analysis, and use data-driven approaches to drive continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement best practices to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Mentor and develop the industrial engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in an industrial engineering or manufacturing management role.

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing industrial engineering solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proficient in data analysis, process mapping, and using industrial engineering software and tools.
