Responsibilities:

  • Follow specifications and calculations to create various designs and technical drawings.
  • Prepare detailed designs and technical drawings.
  • Communicate with in-house team (project manager, operations manager)
  • Prepare and review concept drawings with the drafting team.
  • Ensure final designs are compliant with regulations and standards.
  • Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Drafting or equivalent.
  • 2 - 3 years experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and other similar manufacturing design software.
  • Experience with CAM software is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards for Balustrading and Gates is a bonus.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and can work with less supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
