Job Desription:


• Adherence to biosecurity, animal welfare and safety policies.


• Ensures that Herd Management is complied in the following manner:


• Keeps the proper monitoring of health condition by doing daily rounds


• Initiates prompt identification, medication and management of sick animals.


• Diagnoses disease or any abnormal conditions through physical and behavioral observation as basis for proper treatment


• Monitors the mortality and morbidity rate of the area being supervised and collects data of established facts.


• Performs vaccination based on protocol.


• Ensures the provision of feeds and water based on animal requirement


• Attends staff meetings, seminars and training provided and required by the company.


• Completes work on a daily basis as required.


• Complies to training provided by the management or immediate head.


• Submits daily, weekly and monthly reports.


• Complies to the working schedule provided by the superior.


• Ensures proper data management.


• Ensures accurate encoding of data in excel, PicTraq and Metafarms to come up with proper data analysis.


• Performs other functions as may be required on a temporary basis.

Minimum Qualification:


• A graduate of Animal Science, Agriculture, or related fields


• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply


• Willing to stay-in at the farm


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to adjust in the farm production environment


• Responsible, flexible, hardworking


• Good interpersonal skills


• Average communication skills, both verbal and written


• High initiative and problem-solving skills


• Desire and ability to work in a physically strenuous environment


• Basic knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
