Sales Staff
Job Summary

The Sales Staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting and selling products, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring accurate cash handling. The role contributes to the overall sales performance and positive customer experience in the store.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
  • Explain product features, benefits, and prices to customers.
  • Actively promote and upsell products to achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensure a positive shopping experience that encourages repeat business.

2. Store Operations

  • Arrange and replenish merchandise on display to maintain store presentation and visual standards.
  • Ensure that items are properly tagged, labeled, and priced.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the store supervisor for replenishment.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing stocks in storage and display areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor and stockroom at all times.

3. Cashiering and Transactions

  • Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, card, or digital payments responsibly.
  • Ensure accurate cash count at the beginning and end of shifts to avoid shortages or overages.
  • Prepare sales reports and submit required documentation to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Senior High School or College Graduate
  • Willing to be assigned in any location (Cebu/Lapu-Lapu area)
  • Has experience as Sales Staff (preferred)
  • With basic customer service skills
  • Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible with work schedule (including weekends and holidays).
