Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor will oversee daily accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for a logistics company. This role includes supervising a team of accountants and clerks, managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger, while ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in logistics or transportation accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the accounting department including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger, and prepare month-end close procedures.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Maintain internal control systems and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals, especially operations and logistics teams.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus).
  • With at least 3 years experience in General/Cost Accounting & supervisory role
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Well versed in all facets of accounting including FS and ITR preparation.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to work onsite (Angat, Bulacan)
