About The Role
We are looking for a highly organized and creative
E-commerce Content Operations Manager
to own the quality and performance of our product listings on Amazon and Walmart.
This is a leadership and oversight role, not an execution-only position. You will manage the entire content optimization process—from strategy to execution—by coordinating with designers, copywriters, and marketplace specialists. Your mission: ensure that our 1,000+ listings are the best in the category, visually compelling, brand-consistent, and conversion-driven.
If you have a strong design sense, experience in e-commerce content operations, and the ability to manage multiple projects at scale, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Ownership
Develop and maintain a framework for optimizing and managing product listings across Amazon and Walmart.
Create and enforce SOPs for new product launches and ongoing listing audits.
Creative Leadership
Review, approve, and guide all visual assets (main images, infographics, lifestyle shots, A+ content, videos) to ensure high conversion impact and brand consistency.
Maintain a premium design standard for all listings.
Copy Oversight
Manage copywriting vendors or in-house writers to ensure persuasive, SEO-optimized titles, bullets, and descriptions.
Edit for clarity, tone, and marketplace compliance.
Vendor & Resource Management
Build and manage a network of designers, copywriters, and technical specialists.
Assign tasks, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
Performance Monitoring
Track KPIs such as CTR, CVR, and sessions; identify underperforming listings and create action plans.
Implement A/B testing strategies for titles, images, and A+ modules.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all content adheres to Amazon/Walmart marketplace policies to prevent listing suppression or account risk.
Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years in e-commerce, preferably Amazon/Walmart marketplace content management.
- Background in design or creative review (can assess premium design quality)
- Strong aesthetic judgment and attention to detail.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with SEO principles and marketplace algorithms.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Nice-to-Have
- Copywriting or editing skills.
- Familiarity with Walmart and other marketplaces beyond Amazon
- Experience with AI image tools or automation software
