  • Product development: Formulate new food products based on market needs and company goals. This includes creating and documenting new recipes and processes.
  • Product improvement: Enhance existing products for cost-optimization, quality, or new features.
  • Testing and evaluation: Conduct laboratory tests, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life studies to validate product quality, stability, and safety.
  • Technical documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documents, including product specifications, trial reports, and process guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, to ensure projects stay on track and specifications are met.
  • Commercialization support: Help translate new or improved recipes and processes for large-scale commercial production, ensuring they meet quality and cost parameters.
  • Regulatory and compliance: Assist in sourcing new ingredients and ensuring the final product complies with food safety and other relevant standards.
  • Material evaluation: Evaluate and recommend alternative ingredients and packaging materials.
  • Benchmarking: Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed about market trends and competitor products.
