Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Ensure efficient organization of warehouse space to maximize storage capacity and streamline operations.
  • Implement best practices for inventory management, material handling, and stock rotation.
  • Monitor and improve operational workflows to reduce errors and increase efficiency.

2. Inventory Control & Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical stock checks.
  • Identify discrepancies between physical stock and system records, investigating and resolving issues.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and tracking of inventory to prevent loss or damage.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor inventory levels and stock movements.

3. Staff Supervision & Leadership

  • Manage, train, and develop warehouse staff, including forklift operators, pickers, and loaders.
  • Assign tasks, set performance goals, and ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Foster a positive work environment through team-building, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Enforce company policies, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.

4. Health, Safety, & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, warehouse standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Provide training on safe material handling, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety.

5. Logistics & Coordination

  • Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods.
  • Plan and optimize delivery schedules to meet customer demands and reduce transportation costs.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods to prevent damage and ensure compliance with shipping requirements.

6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and productivity.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business
  • 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in inventory control, logistics coordination, and warehouse safety practices.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for team management and coordination.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
