What is the job?

The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for analyzing customer issues and preparing appropriate solutions or clarifications. This role requires delivering prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Speak with customers via chat, email, phone, and text.
• Assist internal stakeholders to ensure resolutions are reached and communicated to the appropriate parties.
• Advise customers of their loan status and explain the next steps.
• Problem-solve and troubleshoot with borrowers, based on their loan status.
• Should be detail-oriented and comfortable with math equations, particularly in computing debt-to-income ratios (DTI and CLTV)
• Handle escalation and assist resolve complex issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year mortgage experience
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Excel and G Suite
• Clear communication skills, both oral and written
• Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate in data entry/documentation
• Effective in multitasking, time management, and meeting deadlines
• Collaborative team player with problem-solving skills and professionalism in handling confidential information
