Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and perform preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems, power outages, and upgrades (with internal teams or contractors).
  • Serve as Energy Champion, supporting company initiatives in sustainability and power forums.
  • Inspect and monitor electrical/automation systems for compliance with specifications, requirements, and codes.
  • Recommend upgrades, prepare specifications, develop work procedures, and estimate costs for maintenance and construction projects.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, corrective actions, and post-analysis of breakdowns to restore full production.
  • Develop and maintain electrical, automation, and instrumentation documentation and libraries.
  • Maintain appropriate spare part inventories for electrical and automation systems.
  • Coordinate and conduct in-house electrical safety training.
  • Supervise and respond to out-of-hours breakdowns as required.
  • Support plant safety programs by ensuring safe, clean, and compliant work areas.
  • Train plant operators in maintenance and safe practices.
  • Prepare timely and accurate technical reports.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years' experience in plant electrical systems (cement, mining, or aggregates industries).
  • Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance processes (preferred).
  • Proficient in using electrical tools such as multimeters and megohm testers.
  • Ability to read and create electrical diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience in wiring, termination, troubleshooting, and testing electrical devices.
  • Familiar with PLC/SCADA-controlled systems (PLC programming is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Proficient in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
