We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to be a pivotal member of our DevOps engineering team. The candidate will focus on implementing DevOps technologies and work with a team to achieve the desired DevOps practice. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working closely with product managers and developers who like to use lots of technologies to deliver solutions and develop products across different platforms. A great fit for this role is someone who is always intrigued by new technology and is constantly finding better ways to create highly scalable, reliable solutions.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Build, monitor, and manage the cloud infrastructure/workloads
  • Work with the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) Team
  • Work on different application modernization (Containerization/Microservices) or application deployment automation projects
  • Manage cloud infrastructure following best practices, technology frameworks, and documentation
  • Communicate and work well with the CCoE team, subject matter experts (SMEs), and clients
  • Assist the DevOps Team in completing and enhancing the architecture, design, implementation, and operation of different platforms with CI/CD tools and processes
  • Assist in adding AWS or other Cloud Services and configuring additional cloud hosting platforms

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
  • At least 2+ years experience with Kubernetes
  • At least 2+ years of experience in different CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or other Public Cloud Providers
  • Hands-on experience in shell scripting using Bash, Python, or Ruby
  • Experience developing or working with any Development Frameworks such as (Django, Laravel, Rails, Sails, Serverless)
  • Any experience from the following build tools: Terraform, Maven, Grunt, Gulp, Babel, or Webpack.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum Environments
  • Strong understanding of Git
