DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement, with a strong background in scripting, infrastructure management, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Python/Backend Developer, Cloud Engineer, Software Reliability Engineer, or System Administrator
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Strong background in managing Linux and Windows Servers
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and methods
  • Proficiency in Bash Scripting and Python (experience with Ansible and Perl is a plus)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or similar
  • Experience in SonarQube or similar tools (advantage)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or similar)
  • Knowledge of Build Tools: Maven or Gradle
  • Knowledge of Web Servers: Wildfly (JBoss), Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, or similar
  • Knowledge of Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, DB2, or similar
  • Familiarity with Java, Flutter, and Angular
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing Services (AWS, OCI, or similar). Cloud certifications are a plus
  • Familiarity with Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, Thanos, Loki, Grafana
  • Strong interest in Research & Development of new DevOps tools and technologies
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible, Perl) to streamline infrastructure and deployments
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters or Red Hat operating systems for high availability and performance
  • Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, including code quality checks and automated testing
  • Collaborate with teams to design and deploy IaC solutions on AWS or OCI
  • Continuously monitor and enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging DevOps/cloud technologies
  • Explore strategies to minimize cloud and cluster infrastructure costs
