The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems and applications using Java and related technologies. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of solid experience in system development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry best practices.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application quality and performance.
  • Participate in system analysis, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and backend systems.
  • Maintain documentation for system design, processes, and code.
  • Support deployment activities and provide post-production maintenance when needed.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java software/system development.
  • Proficient in Java SE/EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Hibernate), and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle).
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills (Advantageous)

  • Experience in Microservices architecture, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Angular/React.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Php55, Php60,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week
