We are seeking a QA Engineer (Manual and Automation) with a strong background in mobile and web application testing. This role involves both manual testing to ensure usability and functionality, and automation scripting to validate performance, scalability, and regression across platforms. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for mobile (iOS & Android) and web applications.
  • Perform manual testing for both frontend and backend systems to identify bugs and usability issues.
  • Conduct API testing to ensure correct data flow and backend functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Document and track bugs, issues, and enhancement requests in the defect tracking system.
  • Validate fixes and monitor the resolution of reported issues within established timelines.
  • Participate in CI/CD processes by integrating tests into the pipeline for continuous quality assurance.
  • Use debugging tools and logs to analyze failed test cases or issues found in production.
  • Prepare test scenarios, data sets, and test environments for thorough coverage.
  • Communicate findings and status reports to developers and product managers clearly and regularly.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a mix of manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation for mobile apps (iOS & Android
  • Programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with mobile debugging tools
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile/web deployments (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX testing principles and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms, an advantage
