Are you passionate about Linux, automation, and keeping enterprise systems running smoothly? We're looking for a skilled RHEL Engineer to play a pivotal role in our Branch Server Project, managing and optimizing Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. This is your chance to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment where your expertise will directly impact our operations and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain RHEL systems (7/8/9) with best practices.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L1–L3 support, resolve incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Patching & Updates: Keep systems secure and up-to-date by managing kernel updates and Red Hat subscriptions.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce SELinux, firewall, and user policies to safeguard our infrastructure.
  • Automation & Scripting: Create efficient Bash scripts and leverage Ansible for configuration management.
  • Monitoring & Performance: Ensure system health with tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
  • Backup & Recovery: Maintain backups and perform disaster recovery testing to protect critical data.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate system documentation, incident reports, and change logs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on RHEL administration in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with data centers, managed services, or cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with Red Hat tools (RPM, yum/dnf, subscription management).
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting; Python or Perl is a plus.
  • Experience with Ansible, Satellite, AWS, Azure, or OpenStack.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong ownership mindset and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Willing to work in Sucat, Paranaque and Makati
