Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a
Production Operator.
The
Production Operator
operates specific machine/s assigned to him following standard operating procedures and ensures that they are in good running condition. Responsible for producing goods within standard specifications at the right time at a minimum cost. Performs immediate corrective maintenance and troubleshooting in case machine breaks down and conducts preventive maintenance as planned until authorized personnel are available.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

  • Prepares and checks quality of all the materials needed for the scheduled operations.
  • Cleans, sanitizes and prepares the machine/s and surrounding area before operations in accordance with standard cleaning and start-up procedures.
  • Checks if machine/s are in good running condition.
  • Ensure less start up rejections
  • Operates the machine/s in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety Procedures, Company rules and regulations.
  • Performs On-line QC and checks in process / finished product specifications on the required frequency to ensure good quality products.
  • Conducts daily inventory of raw, packaging, cleaning materials, consumables, and finished goods depending on machine being operated.
  • Accomplishes and signs production reports (forms and logbooks) and inventory reports.
  • Reports all matters affecting machine operation and product quality to Production Supervisor.
  • Ensures proper turnover of the machine operation to his reliever.
  • Coordinates with other machine operators.
  • Ensures machines are properly shutdown and all materials (good and rejects) are properly segregated, weighed, labeled and placed in designated areas.
  • Conducts general cleaning of machine and surroundings as per Standard Cleaning Procedures
  • Ensures that all machine parts / accessories and tools are in placed/ secured and machines are turned-off before leaving the area.
  • Performs other functions as may be assigned by superior from time
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday (shifting schedule)

What are the Qualifications?

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Km. 50 Brgy. San Cristobal, Calamba City, Laguna.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • 60 Full-Time position(s) available.
