Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, managing Databricks environments, and optimizing API integrations. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable data solutions that support critical business operations and analytics. You'll collaborate closely with data teams to ensure governance, performance, and delivery of reliable, high-quality data solutions.

The Qualifications We Seek

As a Senior Data Engineer, you should have:

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g., Azure Event Grid, Service Bus)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform solutions such as Dataverse and SharePoint
• Proficiency in Python with at least 3 years of relevant experience and end-to-end implementation
• Strong background in SQL
• Experience managing and creating branches in Azure DevOps
• Experience with REST API utilization and ETL transformations
• Knowledge of Databricks or alternative cloud data platforms
• Strong understanding of star schema data architecture
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven long-term employment and commitment in previous roles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform solutions such as Dataverse and SharePoint
• Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203, AZ-400) are a plus

Your Daily Tasks

• Develop, maintain, and optimize API integrations for data ingestion and delivery
• Utilize Azure DevOps to automate deployment and testing
• Manage and enhance the Databricks environment (clusters, job scheduling, Delta Lake)
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Python, SQL, and cloud-native tools
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers for data quality and governance
• Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
• Implement security, logging, and auditing in line with organizational standards
