The Accounting and Finance Associate plays a key role in supporting the organization's financial integrity through accurate reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance. This position is responsible for preparing financial statements, assisting with internal and external audits, and ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS
  • Support audit processes by coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, preparing schedules, and addressing audit queries
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax) and compliance with BIR and other regulatory bodies
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and subsidiary ledgers
  • Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
  • Prepare and file statutory reports and assist in regulatory submissions
  • Support payroll accounting, accruals, and revenue recognition processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and operational alignment
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit, and tax compliance
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and financial regulations
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in a shared services or multinational environment
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and contract compliance
  • Exposure to year-end closing and financial statement consolidation
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
