DescriptionAdvance your career by joining our Home Lending Operation team that supports Underwriters.As the Associate Underwriting Supervisor within the Underwriting Team, you will manage, coordinate, and direct the daily operations of a unit of non-exempt Associate Underwriters and/or support a processing unit in a product area. You will assign work, set workflow priorities, track your unit's performance, and monitor daily business activities. You will handle exception items, resolve complex issues, coordinate and oversee departmental projects, and document and introduce new procedures to your staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and recommending system modifications for processing business.Job Responsibilities: Develop and lead a team of Associate UnderwritersCoach and lead by example to drive results Select and retain talent; responsible for performance management of the talent Have a customer focus mindset Operate with sense of urgency and use of problem solving skills to resolve any issues or escalations Influence internal and external partners and promote process improvement Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:Advanced Level of knowledge in Underwriting Experience, and with Lending Authority experienceStrong Problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent relationship management skills Ability to handle difficult conversation with Internal PartnersInternal Application Eligibility RequirementsTENURE:Must meet minimum employment tenure requirement.
