Essential Job Functions:

  1. Determining specifications and raw and packaging materials for new product innovations and/or improvements for existing products.

  2. Evaluating materials and vendors and ensuring timely compliance to at least the minimum specifications required during product development.

  3. Testing, recording and analyzing data generated from finished goods prototypes, raw and packaging materials samples, and/or product trials and surveys.

  4. Writing and reading technical papers, reports, reviews and specifications

Professional Experience and Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Package Engineering or other relevant degrees from a reputable school;

  2. 2-3 years of experience in product development is an advantage but candidates that are willing to be trained are encouraged to apply;

  3. Candidates with the following skills are highly preferred: Logical, investigative, and with creative mind, with good critical thinking and negotiation skills, resourceful, flexible, able to work on own initiative, strong team player; effective and efficient interpersonal and communication skills; highly motivated and driven to succeed.
