Job Summary:
As a Process Improvement Specialist in our dynamic team, you will be working in close collaboration with the Quality Manager and Group Data Protection Officer. Your role is pivotal in engaging with departmental process owners across the organization and forging strong cross-functional relationships. This position involves developing and optimizing processes, facilitating knowledge transfer on process improvements, conducting basic data analysis, and assisting in tasks related to data privacy, with a focus on aligning these aspects with both local and international standards.
Job Functions:
- Process Development:
- Work closely with process owners to understand and map out existing procedures.
- Benchmark against industry best practices, with a focus on both local and global standards.
- Research and develop new processes, incorporating findings and data-driven insights.
- Enhance current processes to align with industry and local regulatory standards.
- Document new procedures and effectively communicate them to all relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for successful process development.
2. Process Improvement:
- Regularly conduct process audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement, with attention to local regulatory requirements.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies for process optimization.
- Propose and implement solutions for identified process gaps.
- Periodically review and assess the impact of implemented process improvements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations effectively during periods of process change.
3. Training and Implementation Support:
- Lead training sessions on process improvements, tailored to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Participate in the creation of engaging and informative training materials.
- Provide support during the implementation phase of new or enhanced procedures.
- Gather and analyze feedback from training participants to continuously improve training effectiveness.
4. Data Analysis:
- Employ various data analysis tools to evaluate process performance.
- Analyze data to develop strategies for process enhancement.
5. Data Privacy Support:
- Assist in data privacy tasks, guided by the Group Data Protection Officer.
- Registration and Reporting to NPC
- Develop infographics and other materials related to data privacy.
- Ensure that all processes comply with the company's data privacy policies and Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other data protection related laws
- Privacy Impact Assessment
- Privacy Audit
- Educate internal teams on data privacy principles, focusing on their application within the Philippine context.
- Training and Awareness
Job Qualifications:
1. Education and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications in Lean Six Sigma, with a strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and data analysis principles.
- Familiarity with local business regulations and standards in the Philippines is advantageous.
2. Experience and Training:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or in a quality-focused environment, preferably within the Philippines.
- Demonstrated understanding of process improvement methodologies and basic data privacy principles.
3. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, including understanding and application of standard deviation, variance, and other mathematical computations relevant to process improvement.
- Proficiency in Google Applications such as AppScript, Forms, Sheets, Slides, and Docs, or Office 365 Tools including Power Automate, Forms, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Photoshop is highly advantageous, facilitating the creation of engaging training and informational materials.
4. Competencies:
- Problem-solving: Ability to dissect complex process-related issues and develop effective solutions.
- Data-driven Decision Making: Capability to interpret process data and drive informed enhancements.
- Holistic Perception: Skill to understand interconnections between process elements and anticipate potential impacts of changes.
- Adaptability: Ability to swiftly adapt to new scenarios, learn from experiences, and utilize this learning to achieve success.
- Effective Communication: Skill to express ideas clearly, conduct productive training sessions, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
