The Accounts Receivable Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient billing and collection of payments. This role plays a key part in maintaining positive client relationships, supporting cash flow, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Management

*Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely billing, collection, and reconciliation of payments.

*Issue invoices, statements, and reminders in accordance with company policies.

*Track outstanding receivables and follow up with clients on overdue balances.

*Record, reconcile, and maintain accurate AR sub-ledger balances.

Operations and Process Support

*Support the development and implementation of efficient AR processes and systems.

*Collaborate with the operations team to validate billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

*Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Operations) regarding billing and collection concerns.

*Assist in cash application and allocation of payments to appropriate accounts.

Compliance and Reporting

*Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

*Prepare regular AR reports, aging analyses, and collection forecasts for management review.

*Highlight collection risks and recommend appropriate action plans.

*Support internal and external audits by providing required AR documentation and reports

QUALIFICATIONS

*Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

*At least 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance Operations, or similar role.

*Strong knowledge of AR processes, billing systems, and financial reporting.

*Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

*Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
