About the Role
The Collections Officer (Back Office) provides processing support to teams in Melbourne Collections Business units. The role is primarily responsible for processing high volumes of data and actioning items referred to through a variety of different channels which include workflow tools, queue based and incoming mail from internal and external 3rd parties. The individual has to deliver a positive customer experience to both internal and external customers, ensure all Service Level agreements are met whilst complying with regulatory and bank requirements.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Solid customer service skills, exposure to Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Internet explorer and the Windows interface will the key skills required
- experience in a contact centre work environment will be an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where targets need to be reached
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong financial and numerical literacy
