JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Design and optimize mechanical systems and equipment for feed production lines, including mixers, grinders, pellet mills, conveyors, and packaging systems.

  2. Ensure equipment designs meet operational efficiency, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements for feed manufacturing.

  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation such as engineering drawings, specifications, and maintenance manuals to support design and operational activities.

  4. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to source mechanical components and manage equipment installations or replacements.

  5. Manage the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new or modified mechanical systems to ensure smooth integration into production operations.

  6. Track project progress and ensure all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  7. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for machinery handling, maintenance, and operation.

  8. Ensure all mechanical systems and equipment comply with applicable industry standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, GMP, HACCP).

  9. Perform regular audits of mechanical systems to ensure environmental, operational, and safety compliance.

  10. Collaborate with the production team to optimize production line layouts, streamline workflows, and reduce operational costs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related field
  • Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for designing and optimizing mechanical systems
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • With at least six months of experience in mechanical engineering
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php21,000.00 per month
