About the Job

This role will take full ownership of the company's accounting function, transitioning responsibilities currently handled by the partners into a standardized, scalable process. The position will play a key role in preparing the company for future Private Equity readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare weekly P&L reports and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Own and manage QuickBooks Online and help establish accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
  • CPA certification required
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO Pro certification preferred)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting
  • Comfortable being the sole accounting resource
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Experience standardizing processes and supporting growth or transaction readiness
  • Must be amenable to work nightshift (CST).
  • Must be amenable to start ASAP.
