About This Role:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering accounting activities that ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), corporate policies, and external audits. This role will work closely will work closely with others regarding analysis and reconciliation of accounts, monthly close of accounts, preparation of reports, and with the development, implementation and documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the month-end close processes, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory and cost accounting, and close documentation
• Review the accuracy and timely transaction processing for fixed assets, leases, debt and other general accounting transactions
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Assist FP&A with trend and account analysis for internal distribution
• Support SOX / corporate internal controls compliance efforts, which includes evaluation, development, implementation, execution, and monitoring of controls and systems
• Assist with audits, including preparing work papers for the auditors and analyzing data, and collaborate with internal team and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
• Other duties as mutually agreed upon to make this job a career building experience

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• 4+ years of accounting experience (audit, consulting, and/or corporate accounting)

• 2+ years of experience as a Senior Auditor or Senior Accountant

• Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment

• Strong understanding and proficiency of U.S. GAAP

• Advanced Excel skills

• High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with limited supervision

• Excellent oral and written communication ability

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a variety of personnel both internally and externally

• Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent certification

• Big Four public accounting experience

• Experience with QAD software

• An eagerness to learn and take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment
