As a Level 2 Helpdesk Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our Helpdesk Support team —

  • Resolving complex issues, mentoring junior technicians, and keeping client systems running at their best.
  • Provide advanced remote and onsite IT support for escalated incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot issues across Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365, Azure AD, networking, and security environments.
  • Work daily within ConnectWise Manage, Automate, and Control to manage tickets and client systems efficiently.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Maintain, deploy, and support virtualization platforms (Hyper-V / VMware).
  • Manage backup solutions and NAS storage including Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Assist with SOE deployments, new machine setups, and user onboarding.
  • Collaborate with the Projects, Operations, and Digital teams to identify recurring issues and improve infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to our internal knowledge base.
  • Deliver every job with ownership, precision, and genuine care for the client experience.
  • You will be working primarily as a Windows Helpdesk Support Engineer

Technical Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who brings both hands-on skill and initiative.

Essential:

  • Proficiency with ConnectWise Manage / Automate / Control.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2008–2016) environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and Azure AD.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Veeam Backup & Replication, NAS storage, and SOE deployment.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain SLA performance.
  • Excellent communication — able to explain technical issues clearly to all users.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting Mac OS X desktops.
  • SharePoint administration or migration experience.
  • Experience supporting Education sector clients.
  • Basic understanding of network/switch/router troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to Intune and modern endpoint management.
  • MSP experience (2yrs)
