We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Facility Engineer at our Tanauan, Batangas manufacturing facility (FPIP site). The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical systems maintenance, operations, and optimization while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities Engineering and Maintenance

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment

  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions

  • Support the development and implementation of facility engineering projects

  • Maintain and optimize building automation systems and electrical infrastructure

  • Provide technical expertise for MVAC equipment operations and maintenance

Operations Support

  • Monitor and analyze electrical system performance to identify improvement opportunities

  • Implement energy conservation measures and efficiency improvements

  • Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and technical documentation

  • Provide engineering support during equipment installations, upgrades, and replacements

  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated facility operations

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain required electrical permits and licenses

  • Support environmental compliance initiatives and energy management systems

  • Participate in facility safety programs and promote safe work practices

  • Assist with occupational health and safety requirements related to electrical systems

Project Management

  • Manage small to medium electrical engineering projects from planning through implementation

  • Develop project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements

  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for equipment repairs and installations

  • Document project activities, challenges, and outcomes

  • Assist in capital planning for electrical infrastructure improvements

Qualifications Education and Certifications

  • Registered Electrical Engineer

  • SO2 certification minimum

  • Additional certifications in energy management or safety systems preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years direct work experience in facility engineering, with focus on electrical systems

  • At least 8 years in supervisory or leadership roles in manufacturing or large commercial facilities

  • Proven experience with MVAC systems and related electrical controls

  • Experience with energy management systems and practices

Technical Knowledge

  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical distribution systems, controls, and power quality

  • Knowledge of building automation systems and programmable logic controllers

  • Familiarity with MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) systems

  • Understanding of environmental compliance requirements

  • Knowledge of local regulatory codes and permit requirements

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent project management capabilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Computer proficiency including electrical design software and MS Office applications

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

  • Schedule: Full-time

  • Compensation: ₱40,000-45,000 monthly

  • Residency Requirement: Must reside within 1-hour travel distance from FPIP site
