Duties and responsibilities:

Prepare/Review Business Activity Statements (BAS) for clients

Prepare/Review Financial Statements, including relevant accounting schedules

Prepare/Review Income Tax Returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trust

Prepare/Review Capital Gain Tax calculations for review and advisory to clients

Prepare/Review Fringe Benefit Tax calculations for review and advisory to clients

Liaise with ATO agents regarding client concerns

Facilitate business entity setup and registration

Prepare ATO applications, such as ABN, TFN, GST and PAYG

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in the Australian tax accounting industry

  • Working knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, and IAS

  • Experienced in Tax returns and financial statements for Company, Individual, and Trusts

  • Proficiency in cloud-based and server-based applications, QuickBooks, MYOB and XERO knowledge
