The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing plant engineering and maintenance operations and is willing to perform hands-on troubleshooting, machine repair, and maintenance work to ensure continuous and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily engineering and maintenance activities within the plant.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, machine repair, and corrective maintenance as needed.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in production machines.
- Lead and guide maintenance technicians and engineering staff.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve equipment-related problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and schedules.
- Support equipment installation, modification, and commissioning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- At least 2–3 years of experience in plant engineering or maintenance.
- Proven experience in machine troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience in paper printing or packaging manufacturing is an advantage.
