Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Supervisor to oversee our R&D and Quality Assurance functions. This role is crucial in ensuring continuous product innovation, process optimization, and compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The Technical Supervisor will lead a team of specialists to deliver high-quality products that meet both company and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage R&D projects involving new product development, product improvement, and cost optimization.
  • Supervise formulation, testing, raw material sourcing, and presentations of new or improved products to management.
  • Monitor industry trends, ingredient innovations, and technologies to enhance product competitiveness.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance team in implementing GMP, HACCP, and other quality management systems.
  • Ensure finished products, raw materials, and packaging materials meet company and regulatory quality standards.
  • Conduct and coordinate internal audits, root cause analyses, and preventive actions for non-conformances.
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols across production and commissary facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, SOPs, regulatory requirements, product labelling, and certifications.
  • Provide technical support to cross-functional teams including Marketing, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Develop department goals, foster collaboration, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Culinary, Nutrition, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related course.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as R&D Supervisor or QA Supervisor in food manufacturing.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and product development processes.
  • Background in product formulation, testing, and commercialization.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and team-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Pay: From Php35,000.00 per month
