Job Title: Junior Power BI Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Power BI Engineer to join our data and analytics

team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has a foundational

understanding of Power BI and is eager to grow their skills in data modelling, dashboard

creation, and reporting.

You will support senior team members in building and maintaining Power BI reports,

ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Support data preparation using Power Query and DAX.
  • Help ensure reports are visually clear and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
  • Perform testing and validation of reports for accuracy.
  • Learn and apply best practices in Power BI development and data visualization.
  • Stay up to date with new Power BI features and capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience in a data-related role (internships or academic projects count).
  • Basic experience using Power BI to create reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Power Query and DAX.
  • Understanding of data visualization principles and report usability.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to SQL or data modelling.
  • Interest in UX/UI concepts related to dashboards.
  • Awareness of Power BI service features like workspaces and sharing.
