About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce professional to own and optimize our Salesforce environment. This role requires someone who is both technically strong and able to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions that drive efficiency and insight.

The ideal candidate will not only ensure our Salesforce instance is set up correctly with the right integrations, automations, and workflows, but will also generate meaningful reports, train our non-technical team, and help align Salesforce with our overall business goals.

Responsibilities

· Audit & Optimize Salesforce

o Review our existing Salesforce instance and reconfigure as needed to align with best practices.

o Ensure data integrity, security, and user management are optimized.

· Business Analysis & Solutions

o Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

o Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.

· Configuration & Automation

o Design, configure, and implement Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and automation processes.

o Set up integrations with other systems and applications as needed.

· Reporting & Insights

o Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights.

o Train team members on how to use Salesforce reports effectively.

· Support & Training

o Provide ongoing Salesforce support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

o Deliver end-user training and create documentation to drive adoption.

· Best Practices & Growth

o Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards.

o Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends.

Requirements

· 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce consulting or administration experience.

· Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration (objects, workflows, automation, reports, dashboards).

· Familiarity with Salesforce integrations and AppExchange solutions.

· Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Sales/Service Cloud Consultant) strongly preferred.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.

· Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in [insert relevant industry, e.g., Professional Services, Energy, Utilities, etc.].

· Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools.

· Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Advanced Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Technical Architect, etc.).
